Overpass crash left dump truck driver up in the air

A dump truck driver found himself in an unusual position after colliding with an overpass in Florida over the weekend.

The crash happened around 11:30 a.m. on September 19 near Alamonte Springs, Florida.

Authorities said that a dump truck driver traveling on I-4 and State Road 436 at mile marker 92 collided with an overpass, leaving the dump truck wedged with the cab elevated in the air.

The driver of the vehicle was successfully extricated by tower crews, according to the Seminole County Fire Department.

The driver was treated for minor injuries at the scene.
