Though Brian is new to driving an 18-wheeler, he has plenty of experience on the road. Before he got his Class A, Brian spent years with FedEx, UPS, and even as an air delivery driver. He's had an innumerable amount of wild experiences while driving, from seeing a woman hit a semi and then hitting his semi while training, to being chased by a mutant swan! In Episode 107: Straight From The Pitt | Garry Bechtold, the guys are joined in-studio by Garry and his wife, Lisa! It was a whirlwind of conversation, as the guys bounce around from topic to topic, ultimately landing on truck driving and their careers. They talk with Garry about his six years spent in the Navy as a storekeeper (cargo). Through his service he was able to see places all over the world, and even got a taste for what it's like behind the wheel. After the Navy, Garry landed on the dock at Pitt Ohio, and eventually made his way behind the wheel as a Yard Jockey for seven years before getting his Class A. Garry has now spent over ten years on the road, trucking along with Pitt. During that time, he met Brian, and now he joins in-studio to share his wild and mild experiences from the road, as well as plenty of other enjoyable conversation, so buckle up and get ready for another ride from the Pitt!

In Episode 106: The Hotshots, Brian and Tony chat with Verno, a wildfire firefighter who is part of a group called "The Hotshots" - pretty cool! This group of the best wildfire firefighters travels wherever they are needed to fight wildfires in the U.S. Verno was featured in a Discovery Channel show called "Into the Inferno," which depicted the trials the whole crew went through to stop the fires. His stories are remarkable and his bravery is impressive, so buckle up and listen in as Verno turns up the heat!

In Episode 105: Ubered, Tony and Brian are joined by Evan Kail, a man that wears many hats. Evan is a TikTok star with over 200,000 followers, runs a hilarious YouTube TV show called Pawnman, and on Episode 105 he joins Hammer Lane Legends to talk about his life as an Uber driver. With 140,000 miles, 8,000 trips, four luxury cars, and one incredible story to share, buckle up and get ready for a crazy ride as Evan takes the wheel!

In Episode 104: "Swinging" Through On 18; Brian and Tony have a great conversation with Alan. Driving is something that runs in his blood, since he has many family members who are also drivers. Alan started CDL school in his 30s and has been driving ever since. From being yelled at in his first interview to losing all his gears in the middle of a bridge and many more wild experiences, Alan has had a very unpredictable ride as a driver. So buckle up and get ready for Alan to share some entertaining trucking stories!

In Episode 103: Delivering the Freshness, the guys have a chat with Kirk, a linen delivery man and an ex-podcaster. If I told you that linen delivery was a crazy experience, would you believe me? In Episode 101: Benjamin Dichter | Freedom Convoy Organizer, Tony has a conversation with Benjamin Dichter, one of the Canadian Freedom Convoy organizers. This may be one of the most important interviews we've had on Hammer Lane Legends, as it is larger than just the trucking industry. In this interview, Benjamin shares with us how and why the Freedom Convoy came about, and the impact of the Convoy to date. There was a lot to talk about as the entire situation has been developing rapidly, and has spurred on many other nations to partake in a similar form of protest. One thing is for certain through all of this - the world has learned of the impact of truckers and their importance to us all.

For Episode 100: Tony's Picks, we had originally planned to have one of the organizers of the Freedom Convoy join us on the show, but at the last minute those plans fell through. So, Tony decided to choose three clips out of all our 100 episodes that he thought were pretty fascinating listens and wanted to share for a second time with the audience. Recently, we've run into some recording road blocks - between both Tony and Brian catching COVID-19, it's been difficult to get in to the studio for interviews. So, due to those setbacks, we are re-airing one our most popular episodes to date, Susan from Episode 25: Drug Dealers, Strippers, and Repos!
